Boca Raton, Fla. (October 29, 2015) – West Boca Medical Center is proud to earn an “A” Hospital Safety Score from The Leapfrog Group, a non-profit organization that provides healthcare information to consumers.

Bi-annually, The Leapfrog Group assigns “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” scores to U.S. hospitals based on their performance in keeping patients safe from preventable medical errors, injuries, accidents and infections. West Boca Medical Center’s “A” score is part of The Leapfrog Group’s fall 2015 report and can be found in the latest update to the Hospital Safety Score.

“We are proud to have achieved this recognition for the eighth consecutive time since the inception of the ratings four years ago,” said Mitch Feldman, CEO of West Boca Medical Center. “It validates that our focus on patient safety is continually making a difference.”

The Leapfrog Group evaluated and graded more than 2,500 hospitals nationwide. The Hospital Safety Score was compiled under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts in patient safety and is designed to provide the public information that can be used to protect themselves and their families.
