NICVIEW Camera System Has Over 100,000 Views Since Launch of Program

Sep 21, 2023

After being the first hospital in Palm Beach County to acquire the NICVIEW 2™ system in February, 2021, West Boca Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) cameras have earned more than 100,000 views.

This live streaming camera system keeps parents and family members always connected to their baby. The password-protected camera provides parents of newborns in the NICU with guarded virtual access.

Our hospital is the only one in Boca Raton that has a Level III NICU, the highest level of care possible.

“Knowing our NICVIEW cameras are being used is incredibly gratifying,” said Libby Flippo, interim CEO at West Boca Medical Center.  “It can be extremely overwhelming for parents when their baby is admitted to the NICU. These cameras have helped ease the minds of parents whose baby is in our NICU.”

The cameras are available 24/7, streaming in HD, utilizing encrypted password protection software.  With the password and an internet connection, they can be accessed anywhere in the world, including Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Israel, Egypt, China and Germany to name a few, so extended family can watch the live stream.
