Cesarean sections are one of the most common surgeries performed on women in this country. West Boca Medical Center has two operating rooms for cesarean-sections and an experienced team to help manage the delivery in a safe environment.
Having a c-section does not mean you have to give up your idea of the ideal birth as we offer "gentle C-sections". A gentle C-section allows parents to incorporate some of the more natural aspects of childbirth that are important to them, such as being able to witness the delivery, holding the infant right away, immediate breastfeeding, and the baby and family together as much as possible.
