Scheduling & Visitor RestrictionsWe will be rescheduling some patient appointments and procedures in an effort to protect our patients and staff. Conserving personal protective equipment helps us prioritize the needs of those who may require immediate care. Adjustments to scheduled procedures and appointments will be made as requested by the physician, patient or as required by official local or national public health authorities. We will contact you directly if your appointment or procedure is postponed until a later date. During this time, all West Boca Medical Center facilities will remain open to care for patients who require in-person visits and time-sensitive care. Thank you for understanding our need to take these measures for the safety of all.
New Visitor Guidelines
As individuals enter West Boca Medical Center in areas such as the Emergency Department or registration, hospital staff are asking screening questions about recent travel and symptoms, including fever or respiratory symptoms (shortness of breath or cough).
Given the circumstances, we are limiting visitors to one individual per patient for elective procedures only. For pediatric patients, we also are limiting visitors to one parent or legal guardian per pediatric patient.
- Visitors will be screened prior to entry of the hospital using current CDC criteria and temperature taking
- Visitors will be required to wear a mask or face covering
- Visitors will be required to wait in the designated waiting area and adhere to social distancing guidelines
Feel free to communicate this with your loved ones who may want to visit. You are encouraged to use your personal device for virtual visits and phone calls.
These measures will be in effect until we are advised by the CDC or the Florida Department of Health that it is safe to return to normal visiting practices. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time. We are committed to keeping our patients, our staff and our community safe. Thank you for choosing West Boca Medical Center. It is our pleasure to serve you.
Restrictions for Hospital Entry/Exit
Entry and exit is now limited to the main lobby and emergency room only.
An exception to any limited visitation policy at the hospital is patients with disabilities who require support from family members or staff in order for them to effectively communicate with medical personnel or otherwise receive equal access to medical treatment.
