West Boca, Fla. (July 12, 2016) – West Boca Medical Center welcomes Robin McCarl-Galbavy as director of the Medical Surgical Unit. In her new position, McCarl-Galbavy will be responsible for nursing care and daily operations of the Medical Surgical Unit.

McCarl-Galbavy joins West Boca with nearly 40 years of healthcare experience under her belt. In her most recent role, McCarl-Galbavy served as the director of medical, surgical and telemetry services at a hospital on Florida’s west coast, where she was responsible for six nursing units and over 250 employees.

“With four decades of experience, Robin will be a significant resource to our clinical team and the communities we serve,” said CEO Mitch Feldman. “I have no doubt that she will continue the tradition of excellent quality and patient safety at West Boca Medical Center.”

McCarl-Galbavy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson University and a master’s in health management from St. Thomas University in Miami.
