West Boca Medical Center Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Boca Raton, Fla. – West Boca Medical Center announces the appointment of Austin Wratchford to the position of Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Wratchford will manage daily operations and oversee the development and implementation of long-range plans, goals and objectives for West Boca Medical Center.

Prior to his time at West Boca, Wratchford served as Chief Operating Officer at Raleigh General Hospital in West Virginia. In his role, he provided senior leadership to the 300 bed acute care hospital. During his career, Wratchford has experience in physician recruitment, construction projects, Joint Commission survey training and leading operational efficiency initiatives.

Wratchford graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree before earning his Masters in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2018, he achieved the designation as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
