Tenet Healthcare Foundation and West Boca Medical Center have awarded Michael S. Wolynski a Tenet Healthcare Foundation Merit Scholarship. Wolynski, the son of Brigid Wolynski, a unit secretary in the Emergency Department at West Boca Medical Center, is a senior at Pinecrest School, Fort Lauderdale and plans to attend Boston College to study prelaw.
Wolynski was one of 12 high school seniors in the country to receive this scholarship, given annually to qualifying children of Tenet employees. The scholarship is renewable each year based on academic performance.
“West Boca Medical Center congratulates Michael on his accomplishments and is proud to offer scholarships to children of our employees through the Tenet Healthcare Foundation,” said Walt Mickens, CEO of West Boca Medical Center.
Tenet Healthcare Foundation is a charitable foundation sponsored by Tenet Healthcare Corporation. Endowed by Tenet, the Foundation directs most of its grants to help unmet health care needs in the communities served by facilities owned by Tenet subsidiaries.
